All Things Maui

Airport

Transportation

If you plan to rent a car, we recommend you do so in advance as prices increase the closer we get to the trip.

It's about a 45 minute drive from the airport to The Mauian.

Taxis and Ubers are available if you don't want to rent a car and those run on average $100.

Costco

Located one mile from the airport.

Most rooms at The Mauian have kitchens so we like to stop here after picking up our rental car to stock up on all the essentials.

Walking Distance Dining Options

SeaHouse - Steps from The Mauian, this is a great spot to grab brunch or have a cocktail at the bar overlooking Napili Bay.

Merriman's - We love this place so much we had dinner here twice on our last trip to Maui!

Gazebo - Great little breakfast/lunch spot. You may have to wait in line (no reservations) but it's well worth the wait!

Napili Market

Located right down the street from The Mauian, this local market is a great spot to stop for in-room snacks, drinks and beach essentials!

Local Activities

Snorkle Bob's Napili - If you want to snorkle while in Maui (which we highly recommend) get your gear early so you can take full advantage of beautiful Napili Bay! Snorkel Bob's Napili is walking distance from The Mauian and has great deals on multiple day rentals!

808 Boards - Located next door to Snorkle Bob's this is a great spot to rent a paddle board. The Mauian has paddle board racks for easy storage!

Bike down Haleakala - Maui offers the longest downhill bike tour experience anywhere in the world!

Kapalua Golf Club - Recognized as the best golf course in Hawaii for fourteen consecutive years by Golfweek!

Spa Montage at Kapalua Bay - For those of you looking for a little extra pampering, this spa is right up the road and comes highly recommended!

Lahaina

This is such a fun town full of great restaurants and shops, and it's only a 15 minute drive from Napili Bay.

Whale Watching - Pacific Whale Foundation creates incredible whale watching experiences while ensuring that its revenue goes toward whale research and conservation.

Old Lahaina Luau - At the most authentic lūʻau in Maui, you will be able to see, hear, taste, feel and smell some of the most authentic lūʻau traditions that have been held generation after generation!

Lahaina Sunset Sail - Stunning views, incredible service, open bar and tasty apps!

Banyan Tree – Definitely go check this out. It's the oldest and largest of its kind.

Lahaina Fish Co. - Amazing food, including sweet purple mashed potatoes that are to die for!

Waikiki Brewing Company - Great location on Front Street!

Cheeseburger in Paradise - Super fun bar with a fabulous view!

Fleetwood's - Owned by Mick Fleetwood of Fleetwood Mac. Fantastic rooftop for a sunset dinner with traditional Hawaiian entertainment.

Star Noodle - Great spot for fresh noodles, sake cocktails and asian-inspired share plates.

Leoda's Kitchen and Pie Shop

This little sammie and pie shop is incredible and is conveniently located right off Honoapiilani Hwy, so you will pass by it on your way from the airport to Napili. It also happens to be located right across the street from our wedding venue! ♡
